Join expert local artist Vicki Norman for 3 days of exclusive access to the incredibly beautiful house and grounds of Acton Scott Hall in rural Shropshire. Paint the vibrant colours of early summer, surrounded by birdsong and rolling countryside. Take advantage of a rare opportunity to visit and paint the characterful private Elizabethan home of the Acton family. You will be spoilt for choice of subject with stunning architectural features, delightful gardens, a summerhouse, church and woodland walks to choose from. Take your time and unwind amongst the ancient trees and broad Shropshire vistas as you spend a full 3 days painting the beautiful surroundings.
Develop your painting skills with plenty of practical painting time and lots of helpful advice and guidance from Vicki who will be on hand all day to support your learning. Painters in all media and of all skill levels are welcome! (Complete beginners should take some time in advance to familiarise themselves with the practice of painting en plein air and the equipment required.)
Your fee includes 3 days of exclusive access to the beautiful grounds and parts of the house suitable for hosting painters, morning coffee and afternoon tea, comprehensive tuition and support in painting en plein air with a different theme and demonstration each day to inspire you.
