The Shooting Lodge, sleeping up to 11, has been finely restored by Rupert Acton to combine every modern day convenience while retaining its original character.

Approached by a private track through fields and woodland, the property occupies a secluded position with south-facing terraced lawns and grounds affording stunning views across open parkland towards Wenlock Edge.

Dating back to the mid 18th century, this former farmstead offers spacious accommodation including an oak framed 'banqueting room' with open fire for relaxing or entertaining in, a large bespoke farm-house style kitchen and the convenience of a secondary kitchen/utility room. Furnished with a mix of new and antique, the bedrooms are thoughtfully appointed, while period details include beamed ceilings, flagstone and oak floors. A rustic log cabin summerhouse situated in the grounds provides a fine viewing platform, there is an al fresco dining area and separate table tennis room.

A unique and picturesque property providing flexible accommodation, The Shooting Lodge is booked time and again by many returning guests.

The Shooting Lodge will be under new management from July 2024 and will be rebranded as Hatton Grove. Please use the button below which corresponds to your desired stay date.
